We're Fundraising!

There will be lots of exciting events happening in 2017 as we have established a fantastic team of volunteers to drive our fundraising activity forward. Here is a list of upcoming events and if you wish, a button to donate!

Why We Fundraise? 

JBBA is a non-profit organisation and all our committee members and coaches who keep the running of the sport in Jersey are all volunteers! The fees you pay to play is literally that - It all goes on to pay for court fees, insurance and equipment, so we fundraise to help develop the sport & players. This includes help sending our Island Men and Ladies team to the Island Games and continuous development of Basketball from juniors to Island level.

The Basketball community is small, growing but we'd like to be bigger and better!

It would be great for everyone to get involved, invite your friends and family, there will be an event suitable for anyone! Whether you play basketball or not, please come to one of many events to support the sport in Jersey!

• Poker Night -  Friday 27 January 2017

With Planet Poker, Entry to participate in this exciting fundraising event will be £30 and there is a guaranteed £500 first prize (based on 50 players)

Players will start with 5,000 chips. Rebuys and bonus chips available.

• February Half Term Junior Basketball Camp - 20 - 24 February 2017 

This is JBBA's first Junior basketball camp - an active week over half term for children to learn to play basketball. This will be a fun-filled week for any girls and boys age 8- 17 years and any ability. You can attend one day to the full week learning basketball drills and playing fun games.
